How does the tattoo look between treatments?
How quickly a tattoo fades is highly individual, and the results after each treatment are not linear. By this, we mean that if, for example, you need 10 treatments, you cannot expect the tattoo to fade by 10% each time. The speed at which you see results varies based on the amount of ink, the color, and the age of the tattoo.
For two people with identical tattoos, the amount of fading after, say, 5 treatments can differ significantly. Some individuals notice clear results after the first treatment, while others may only see a difference after the third treatment. Additionally, the perception of the most significant change can vary. For example, one person might perceive that their tattoo has faded by 30% after four treatments, while after the fifth treatment, it appears to have faded by 60%.
Below, you can see two examples of how a tattoo may look after three treatments.
Images During the Consultation
Since there is a waiting period of 12 weeks between each treatment, it’s possible to become "blind" to the changes. When you see the tattoo every day and become accustomed to its appearance, it can be challenging to notice how much it has actually faded.
That’s why we take pictures during the consultation so you can easily compare and appreciate the difference since you began the removal process.
