Other clinics' lasers

There are a plethora of techniques, providers, and methods for tattoo removal. Essentially, you should look for providers who always conduct a consultation, wait 12 weeks between treatments, and use modern laser technology.

The first two aspects are our hallmark at Rethink—something we unfortunately cannot say for all other providers in the market.

Regarding laser technology, it is important to understand that just because a provider uses Q-switched Nd
lasers does not necessarily mean that their treatments will be effective. Q-switched simply means that the laser operates in nanoseconds, "billionths of a second."

Unfortunately, other providers rarely mention whether their pulse width is 5 nanoseconds "ns" or 60 nanoseconds "ns," and the general rule is that the shorter the pulse width, the safer the machine. Many providers have a short pulse width, but to achieve optimal treatment, an extremely powerful motor is required—something many providers currently lack.

There are therefore providers who choose to hide information about their machines or even have false specifications on their websites.
