Who should not get tattoo removal?Based on studies, we sometimes advise against treatments. The guidelines we apply at Rethink are as follows:
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
- You should not undergo tattoo removal during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Do not visit the clinics if you exhibit symptoms of a virus or contagious diseases.
- You should not have a skin type that poses a high risk for scarring or unwanted pigmentation.
- You should not have used self-tanner in the two weeks leading up to the treatment.
- You should not have used corticosteroids for two weeks prior to the treatment.
- If you are taking medications, check how they may affect the treatment.
